Specific specifications of the Canon EOS R6
Canon’s latest camera features a 20.1-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and is powered by Canon’s next-generation DIGIC X processor. For the body, the Canon EOS R6 is clad in a magnesium alloy body and a plastic body that is said to have a gasket.
When it comes to autofocus, the EOS R6 has the same specs as its more expensive big brother. This camera features a Dual Pixel CMOS AF II system with up to 100% AF area coverage.
Additionally, this camera also supports eye tracking/AF for humans and various animals, from dogs, cats to birds, perfect for those of you who often rely on the camera for bird watching.
For taking pictures, this camera is capable of 12 fps with a mechanical shutter and 20 fps with an electronic shutter.
The Canon EOS R6 is a versatile camera. That means you can count on him when it comes to photography and videography. In the video section, the EOS R5 is capable of recording 4K resolution video at 59.94 fps or 1080p video at up to 119.88 fps in Canon Log H.265 or HDR PQ H.265 10-bit format 4: 2:2.
Its sister, the EOS R5, can record videos in 8K resolution. Again, not everyone needs this kind of resolution. To ensure blur-free photos and smooth videos, the EOS R6 is also equipped with built-in 5-axis stabilization.
For its operation, Canon supplies a 0.5-inch electronic OLED viewfinder with 3.69 million pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. 1.62 million pixels.
