1. Start the iTunes service with iCloud

2. Sync content with iTunes

Follow these steps to manually sync content from a computer to an iOS device:

– Open iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version.

– Connect the device to the computer with the supplied USB cable. The connected device will appear as an icon in the upper left corner of the iTunes window.

– Click on the device icon. Under Settings on the left side of the iTunes window, look for a list of content types that can be synced from your iTunes library to your device.

– If you don’t have certain content in your iTunes library, some tabs may not be visible. For example, if you don’t have any podcasts in your library, the Podcasts tab won’t appear.

– Click the type of content to sync.

When iTunes can’t sync some content, including email accounts, notes, or bookmarks. So use iCloud to manage your email, notes, and bookmarks across all your devices.

In the main iTunes window, check the box next to Sync to turn on sync for that type of content. If the checkbox is checked, sync is active for this type of content.

If you see a message that your iOS device is syncing with another iTunes library after clicking the box, it means your iOS device has been connected to another computer.

If you click “Erase and Sync” in the prompt, all content of the selected type on the iOS device will be replaced with the content on the computer.

Unsynchronized content will not be removed from the iOS device. You can only sync your iOS device with one iTunes library at a time.

After you’ve enabled sync for a content type, you’ll see additional options to customize your sync settings. Use this option to make sure you target the content you want.

Repeat steps 4 through 6 for each content you want to sync. Then click the Apply button at the bottom right corner of the screen to save your sync settings. If the synchronization does not start automatically, click the Synchronize button.

Once sync is enabled, content will sync every time you connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes.

If you see a message that some content cannot be synced, your computer may not be authorized for that type of content. Make sure the computer is authorized to sync content.
